The Special events committee works to support the chamber in the planning, promotion, and sponsorship identification for chamber signature programming including the black elected officials’ reception, the annual awards program, trade mission, royal gala,evening networking/breakfast/luncheon/chamber summits, mentorship, cultural exchange, and corporate programming.

Education Committee
Education committee focused on policy, issues and programs in the areas of K-12 and higher education within the Greater Metropolitan region advocating on behalf of minority students and the minority workforce.

Entrepreneurship and Business Development Committee
Entrepreneurship and Business Development committee works to share ideas and best practice strategies to help small business members operate more efficiently and profitably. The committee also works to assist small business learn what it takes to obtain and secure local, state and federal government procurement contracts.

Government Affairs Committee
The Government Affairs committee promotes pro-business legislation and advocates on behalf of issues of concern to the American Caribbean community within the Greater Metropolitan region. This committee works to provide remarks, testimony and opposes legislation which threatens a healthy business climate and quality of life at both state and local levels.

International Affairs Committee
International Affairs committee is focused on developing programming and conducting outreach to Caribbean, Afro-Cari, Afro-Cari decent, Afro-decent , Afro- American, and all other ethnic group communities and Afro-Cari and Afro-diaspora organizations within the Greater Metropolitan region to support the chamber’s international programming and to encourage the involvement and participation of international communities within the Chamber’s efforts.
